Irak : Mgr Emmanuel Dabbaghian, archevêque arménien de BagdadROME, Vendredi 26 janvier 2007 (ZENIT.org) – En Irak, le pape Benoît XVI a confirmé l’élection de l’archevêque arménien de Bagdad, Mgr Emmanuel Dabbaghian. Le nouvel évêque arménien est né en Syrie, à Alep, en 1933, et il a été ordonné prêtre en 1967. Il était jusqu’ici curé de la paroisse arménienne catholique de Tbilissi, en Géorgie. |
