Italie : Benoît XVI reçoit Mario Monti33559 Benoît XVI a reçu M. Mario Monti, président du Conseil des ministres italien, en audience privée, samedi 16 février 2013, au Vatican. Cette entrevue « particulièrement cordiale et intense », selon un communiqué du Saint-Siège, a eu lieu dans le cadre du départ de Benoît XVI, qui a annoncé la fin de son pontificat pour le 28 février prochain. M. Mario Monti a exprimé au pape la gratitude et l’affection du peuple italien pour son « très-haut magistère religieux et moral » et pour son « attention active aux problèmes et aux espérances de l’Italie et de l’Europe ». |
