Madagascar : Mgr Ramaroson nommé évêque de FarafanganaROME, Dimanche 27 Novembre 2005 (ZENIT.org) – A Madagascar, le pape Benoît XVI a nommé évêque de Farafangana, Mgr Benjamin Marc Ramaroson, supérieur provincial des Pères lazaristes (CM, Congrégation de la Mission). Le nouvel évêque est né en 1955. Après un baccalauréat scientifique (mathématiques), il fréquenta pendant deux ans l’université d’Antananarivo. Puis il entra chez les Lazaristes, et fit sa profession religieuse en 1980. Il a été ordonné prêtre en 1984. Après avoir été curé à la cathédrale de Farafangana, il a poursuivi ses études à Rome, à l’université pontificale grégorienne, où il a obtenu un doctorat en théologie spirituelle. Il a ensuite été nommé supérieur du scolasticat des Lazaristes de Fianarantsoa, tout en enseignant la théologie morale. Puis il a été directeur du noviciat. Il était supérieur provincial depuis 2001. |
